Fargo Air Show

Unread post by RareTA »

Well it's been crazy busy this summer around here. I need to go back to work, It seemed I had more time then. We just had our air show last weekend and I got a few of the Blue Angels. They fly right over our house while practice and during the show.

Hope you folks enjoy!

Love the sets Ken. As it were, I am reprocessing Blue Angles photos from 2007 (last time I saw them).
The first one in set2 looks almost like a drawing in a comic book. Just an observation and not judging. :)
I am hoping to catch them in San Francisco in October, where their playground is over water (bay).

Thank you all for the kind words! The last time they were here was in 2009. They were to be here a couple of years ago but with the federal budget fight they didn't come. It is just crazy they things they do with those planes. By the way they said on the news this is the first time one of the pilots was a woman.

Wow. I saw the crew having women members in 2007 and now the pilots as well. Fantastic,
though personally it should not have been a news worthy item. I may have to dig and see if
I have taken a subsequent one since 2007. The one on SF bay is amazing when one of those
crazies fly low over water and create this spray. Almost like going supersonic. Respect.

With best regards,
Sury

Great shots Ken. I particularly like 5742 - a great angle, and love the sun glinting of the canopies. They look great against the blue sky you have. :)
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
