Thank you Garry.
Love the third one Valery. That butterfly is a nice touch.

Thank you Sury! It's exactly what your camera can do. A77-2 with my old 55-200 (I use for traveling, it's lite, small zoom lens and works great with a77-2). The butterfly didn't stop flying, not for a second. I have to admit A77-2 in sport shoot mode can do it. I return from Cuba, had in my a bag a77-2, 16-80 CZ and SAL 55-200.sury wrote:Thank you Garry.

SportsMode? I should give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion Valery.

Valery, great shots, especially love the butterfly in flight.
Re: Flowers 2016
Hello everybody! It has been a bit of a gap since I posted any pictures. Family life and work have conspired to keep me away from making pictures and posting. As the Bluebells return to the local woods I have been able to start getting out for a few early morning sessions again.
2016 Tiddesley Wood - Dark to Light by Birm, on Flickr
2016 The Knapp - Silver Birch And Bluebells by Birm, on Flickr
First picture with A99 and SAL 28-75. Second with A7II and EF 24-70/4. I've been trying the two combinations out together and in very unscientific comparisons, and in my normal conditions, I struggle to see a difference. The smaller package is nice, but I'd miss the rear screen's extra articulation on the A99. The A7II is a nice step up from the Nex 6, but I miss having the SEL 50/1.8 and Sigma e-mount 30/2.8 as walk around lenses.

I have tried to swing by and read the occasional post, but struggled to find time to comment. Hope to be more engaged going forward. Have I missed your trip to Cuba? Did you go down the A7x route?
