It is amazing how close to each other they fly. Some times less than few meters apart. Amazing skills and nerves of steel.

I will be on a boat near the Inner Harbor. Hopefully that gets me close enough. The Tamron 15-600 needs repair so the Sony 70-200 G gets the job. Guess I will be cropping a lot.

A77II and 70-400G (Gen I). All hand held shots, with lot of panning. AF-Wide.

True I went for A77M2 over my A700 for Pixel count. My a900 FF did not have the reach at 400 but had 24MP.
My A700 had reach but not MP. So I went with 24MP on A77M2.
A 42MP APS-C might be the desired solution.
Do you think, the 42MP on A99II will give me better crop over APS-C? I am willing to experiment.
