I think this is my favorite out of all of them. Yes, the boat masts are a distraction, but the angle of the planes coming at you trailing smoke and the smoke pattern is really nice. Actually, if you wanted to do it, you could pretty easily clone out the masts. You are lucky that they are mostly against a plain sky. Over on the left bottom they are mostly against plain gray smoke. Fortunately, all of the airplanes are in the clear and Alcatraz is mostly not in the background of the masts. With a few minutes of work you could get rid of them. It depends on what your thoughts are about it. I don't do much cloning, especially these days since I do almost everything in LR and it doesn't have the good cloning tools that PS has. Anyway, just an idea.

Thank you, Henry. Let me give it a try. What have I got to lose, other than few masts?

Wow - all spectacular. The smoke does really add a dimension to those pictures.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

That looks pretty good! With a bit more work you could fix it up even better since there are a few small inconsistencies that could be fixed, but I like it! What you think is what is important though since it is your photo.

Henry,
I agree about the inconsistencies. I am open about experimentation. Since these were not taken with a certain
look in mind, I have no issues considering differing perspectives. Though I was anticipating certain formations,
it was mostly "spray and pray". Though the panning helped a lot with focus and capturing crossovers. Till you mentioned
about those masts being a distraction, I did not see them as distraction, to be honest. At least your suggestion helped me
to see the image in a different light.

Sury,
these are all great shots! I especially like the one where you cloned out the boat masts.

Thank you Dusty. Let me go look at it with a magnifying glass and fix remnants. :)

Very exciting photos of the show, Sury. : )

Nicely composed so we can enjoy the fully-fledged acts and maneuvers taking place.

Thanks for sharing,
