Thanks Pako. We have gallinazos in Wyoming, but there we call them turkey vultures. Thanks for the Spanish name. That was my first time to the coast here in Peru. I've never been to Tacna but perhaps one day. On another note, I should be hitting Lima soon and I'll be contacting your camera repair guy once I know for certain when I'll be going just so that he'll know I'm coming. Fortunately the camera has only acted up once or twice since I posted about it's problems earlier.

I'm not sure if visiting Tacna is worthwhile. Better to go to Cuzco or Puno

I will be expending the first week of March in Lima, I'll send you a message end of February, in case you are going to Lima then.
