Re: Weather Today-In Your Vicinity/2017
This was taken few days ago but we are expecting rain again starting tomorrow. The good news is that the winter (aka rainy season) was so good this year, we had almost 150% of the average rainfall and our area is now officially no longer in drought. Last year helped to get to 80% level and now we are almost normal. Our reservoirs were at 8% - 10% capacity just couple of years ago.

Good for California !
Great to know that the reservoirs are back to normal and even exceeding some expectations, Sury.
The courtyard and the pool is looking neat during the rain with lots of playfull droplets starting ripples of waves on the water surface.
Thank you for sharing and don't forget your umberrella, be it for rain or Sun, in sunny California! Best way to experience a little, neat, welcome rain is to walk under it and maybe 'sing in the rain' as Debbie Reynolds, Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor did once in a memorable movie. : ) Or take photos of rainy incidents, I suppose...
Thnaks for sharing,
Yildiz

Amazing, Jeff.
Astonishingly beautiful how the clouds twirled, rolled and danced around the mountain top like overflowing dry ice in a glass of water..
Thank you for sharing. 900+ photos in an hour is hard work and requires a lot of card space and battery life. You must have been neatly organized and prepared. The weather looks great, by the way.

Nice video Jeff. Was that cloudy or hazy just above the town?

Thanks for the comments Yildiz. I almost wasn't prepared enough. The camera battery was at 2% when I quit.
Thanks Sury. To answer your question, yes. It's both. A little less haze this morning due to the rain last night, but still it was present just over the city.

Very nice winter shots Yildiz, gorgeous icicles. We usually get that heavy wet snow.
Very nice shot of the apple Pako, shows clear & cold.
Good one of the deluge sury, you sure needed it.
Terrific time lapse Jeff. Watch it several times.
Back to normal here. Will get colder again fairly soon.
Took this on the First Nations Res today, made from the plentiful driftwood on the shores.
Dog grooming on the dike today.

Thank you, David Antony.
Always love how you find inticate elements only enhancing the weather conditions. Beautiful driftwood horse sculpture and a happier dog for a little fur-trimming, I suppose.

Hi David Antony;
Don't they make a cold and snowy day a cheerful day indeed? Suprisingly colourful and different variety of birds...
(I did take a long and good look at these photos at time of upload but I must have been to mesmerised by the birds to remember to comment. Thanks to Birma I realised that I hadn't.)
Thanks for sharing,

Lovely bird shots David.
Here's my weather shot. It's taken from Lake Titicaca while visiting the floating islands.
