Apparently, some time ago, this body was buried here and the side of the hill has eroded away exposing the remains.

.

Not an easy subject to look at.... That looks to be a right foot's toes and not fully decomposed either: toe bones and nails can be identified.

Hope you're in safe areas, Jeff. This appears to be a curious place.

Can't really say "thanks for sharing" this time. Never liked looking at newly-dead bodies but strangely enough I like observing ancient mummies of ancient Egypt or Andes or Tibet.. or wherever they can be discovered.

I agree with Yildiz. Not an easy subject. Good details never the less.

Thanks guys. And Yildiz, I'm not in any danger. I verified that the body wasn't me. :)

The hill was an old cemetery and there are a lot of graves there. This one however was a little to close to the edge and due to erosion has been exposed and is very slowly sliding down the side of the hill. My friend that found this body told me that two months ago, this foot couldn't be seen. The other side of the body doesn't have any flesh as it's been exposed for quite some time. It's a very dry and sandy area. So when it does rain, the water doesn't stay in the soil long and the bodies tend to dry, slowing the decomposition process.
