Macros from Meadowlark

I've been amiss with posting images here and it seems the old ones that I posted have been lost in the photobucket. I purchased a Sony 90mm macro and I absolutely love this lens. I go to Meadowlark Gardens fully intending to use other lenses, but the 90mm macro just makes me want to explore the small side of things. Here are some of my latest pictures.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Almazar80; :)

These are truly impressive; bokeh is very smooth and delightful while the subjects are beautiful.
The Sony 90mm macro brings to mind Tamron 90mm F2.8. I own a Tamron and now not so sure if there's a significant quality difference between the same-range/type lenses ? Bokeh-wise, the Sony may just be better. I'm a little envious of what I'm seeing in these shots. Wonder if I can get the same smoothness with the Tamron ? I'll try some shots soon... :)

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz

It's nice to have a lens that motivates one to get off the couch and shoot.
You have a gem in this one.

JB,

I don't know about you but for me the lens that usually gets me motivated to shoot is the 'new' one, even if it's one I dug out of the closet where I stored it after tiring of it some time before!

I keep wanting an ultra wide, and I may eventually get one, and them I'm sure I'll have lots of wide angle shot to post.
