Spent a few hours at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. Here are some pictures.
1. Soaked
2. The Fly
3. The Flower in the Droplet
Every time I go to the garden, I think I'm going to use something other than a macro - but macro photography is a lot of fun. Thanks for looking.

All 3 are killer shots.
You have set a very high standard.

Thank you for the complement. It was raining off and on but it was an opportunity to go around the garden undisturbed. There was a wedding reception going on in the banquet/reception building adjacent to the garden's visitors center. It didn't clear up soon enough for the wedding party to go outside for pictures (one of the reasons people choose this venue for wedding receptions), but I wish the new couple good fortune in their new life together.

Thank you for the comments. It was a very different experience taking pictures of flowers in the rain.
