Been in Florida for the past 9 days. Took lots of photos. These are the first batch.

.

There's something about Pelicans On A Post in B&W.

The first is especially like solemn statue and the last one is an interesting composition because of the defocused background; those stilts/posts appear like headstones in a cemetery with the birds keeping watch.

Don't know but they have a solemn, quiet and sculpturistic stillness to them although they are in motion and probably are in noisy conditions whith the sea birds and waves filling with sounds.

Nicely taken. Dramatic.

Thanks for sharing, JBTaylor,

And, happy belated birthday! I saw that you had your birthday a short while ago but forgot to leave a comment. :) Enjoy your new age!

Yildiz

Thanks Yildiz. Yes it was my birthday last week. Spent it in the Florida Keys by myself (and the camera gear). Many pictures to process and post.
More to come.

Wishing you many happy returns of the day, JB. The third one is a keeper in my books.

Happy Birthday! Sto Lat! Na Zdrowie! :D

Nice shots too! I particularly like the last one with all of the vertical posts.
