It was windy today. Thought I might try the neutral density filter. RX1 but it has the same sensor as the a99 so it should count as an A mount image. Cropped.

Hi, JBTaylor;

The foreground grass in motion is creating a sweeping cloud… Is the effect due to the filter? Interesting experimentation.

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for commenting.
Yildiz,
It's a 4 stop ND filter. It slowed the shutter speed down to 2 seconds.

Thanks for clarifying that, JBTaylor. :)
ND filters certainly make difference to the photo.

More motion but in a different way.
Another windy day but this time at a Maryland Eastern Shore wildlife refuge. How to show the wind? Long lens, narrow aperture and low iso.
a99, Tamron, 150-600mm at 600mm, f.13, 1/40, and iso 200.

The next one is f.16 at 1/50.

Thank you Yildiz. These images did not match what I saw in my head. I got close though.
Will try again.
