Rapa Nui (Easter Island/ Isle de Pascua)

Unread post by sury »

Wishing you all a very happy new year (albeit belatedly). Our family was on a vacation to Easter Islands, Atacama and a brief stop over in Panama city in the last week of December. I am still processing the images and here are some Panos.

We hiked to the Orango Crater. This is on the way looking back at the coast and Hanga Roa.

That's an impressive crater. Glad you didn't fall in.
All my Sony SLT gear gone. Still got my RX100 though.

It's an impressive geological feature, something I would enjoy seeing but sadly I doubt I'll ever get there.
All my Sony SLT gear gone. Still got my RX100 though.

.

Seeing Easter Island from your lenses is great, Sury, but seeing your daughter taking the joy to the next level staying afloat is more wonderful. :)
That crater is ancient history …

Thanks for sharing,
