Laguna Miniques, Antofagosta, Chile

Few shots from Laguna Miniques. I briefly suffered from a hypoglycemia due to the altitude. Little bit of orange juice and a glucose tablet soon restored me to get back to "shooting".
More info on the area:

The small black specks at the shore are birds (flamingoes). The distance was quite large since there is a huge buffer distance between where we were and the lake shore.

I had 70-400 mounted on A99M2 and I was just recovering from my hypo episode and had barely enough strength to lift
the camera and take a shot of the bird that just landed in front of me.

.

Just beautiful, Sury. :)
There's certainly something brilliant about the places you photographed. And they even have extraordinarily coloured birds. Glad that your temporary break for recovery gave way to noticing other beauties.

Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz
