Here are some test pictures taken using an A100 with a recently acquired Minolta AF 100-300mm f4.5- 5.6 APO lens. All shot in RAW only and post processing carried out using Adobe Lightroom on a G4 desktop PowerMac.

I would be grateful for some feedback / criticism as I have a hard time gauging my shots in isolation.

First, welcome to the forum!

They're good shots and you would appear to have a good copy of that lens. The bird shots in particular are sharper than similar ones with my 70-210/4. I like the boat shots, too, though they're rather tightly cropped and some suffer from rather pronounced inclination.

My favorites:

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum.
Everything (color, contrast...) look great on my LCD monitor (Viewsonic).
Great shots worthy for exhibition, you got there.
