Hi Richard - some very fine shots there. I especially like the bee and butterfly pictures - great colours and details. That house fly foot is pretty amazing  .

Hi. The fly's foot was done with my microscope, I just have a fascination for the "close-ups".
I have many more shots done with Sony gear and will put more on soon.
Bird life and macro work are my “thing” I do find it very rewarding.
Thanks
Richard
Ps I have added a Sony spotting Set :)

Richard, you have great photos there. Why don't you link them here?

Hi all thanks for you nice comments, yes Doc I will put some on the forum, (when I can work out how to do it!).
Dusty I will also put some more Microscope images on as well, The scope was bought from our local German store “Liddl” the cost was £49.99 under 70$ US, made by “Bresser, Meade” the telescope people, I did buy it for the grand children, but found it was far to good for them.
Thanks again
Richard

So Richard, what's the setup to get it to adapt to the Sony? What do you use for lighting? I may want to try this myself!

Thanks,
Dusty

Well Dusty, that one was done with the included "Meade" USB camera but the camera fittings can be bought the same as the scope fittings.
I just found the kit an excellent buy, so much for so little, the lighting is done by led bottom light and it also has a back light led both being adjustable for intensity it also has a range of filters on the bed.
Fascinating to see all of those micro organisms and structures.

Richard

Fine shots, but I've never been a fan of Flickr. I've heard too many stores of people getting their pics "stolen" there. A google search for "photos stolen from flickr" provides over 1,000,000 hits. It's not somewhere I feel comfortable posting. (this is a dig at flickr, not scooterman.)

Hi Lonnie, You can have a dig at me if you want
If someone is that desperate to want my pics they are welcome and also blind.
I do it purely for my pleasure not to make anything out of it and if others like what I do that is a bonus. :)
Thanks
Richard
Ps the microscope is a Bresser Biolux NV, very good value for money.

Richard, click on any of your photos in flickr, go to "view all sizes", right click the image and select "copy image location" (in Firefox), and then get back here, click on "Reply" (if you're on a current topic) or "New topic" if you want to create a new thread.
Just above the window where you should write, there are small boxes, click on the "Img" box and paste your copied link.
I hope I could explain the steps :?
Hope you don't mind linking that shot everybody here is talking about:
