Hi Rodney and welcome. You have a varied portfolio there, if I see any one aspect which you could improve I'd have to say 'soften it a bit'. You move in close, which is good but a little unforgiving, and you tend to like both fairly contrasty 'dry' lighting conditions and a contrasty processing.

Try for example looking for reflected or diffused light for portraits, and using the Portrait preset (JPEG) or a similar process on the camera. I think you are aiming for contrast and impact, but that some of the subjects could work better with a more toned-down, lighter, more delicate look.

Hi David
Thanks for taking the trouble to look and your comment. I suppose I do tend to go for impact and contrast, but it would be good for me to reflect on that and perhaps, as you say, try a more forgiving approach to (especially) faces.
I look forward to the experiments to follow.
