I have a Minolta MD 50/1.4 that I paid a similar price for, but the Nikon sounds like a bargain if you wanted a fast fifty.

You have found a neat place to check out every so often, Henry :) .
Nex 5, A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

I stumbled across this late 1960s/early 1970s ad for my first SLR, the Mamiya/Sekor 1000 DTL. :)

That's certainly possible! I don't know the exact year of the ad, but let's just say 1969. And let's say she was 22 years old when the photo was taken. That would make her 69 years old now!
