GrüB... oops, hello from Lille, France, Europa, Earth.
Everybody calls me Sebastien, as it's my name...
I've been collecting everything that carry a lens for 15 years, but I've got a little inclination for the SRT 101 and his cousins and brothers. A SR1 or another would be kind in my junk, but they alas aren't so much common.
I own not so much Minoltas : 1 AUTOPAK 50, 1 Hi Matic 9, 1 Hi Matic F, 1 MINOLTINA S, 1 SRT 100B, 4 SRT 101, 1 X700, 1 Weathermatic 35 DL, 1 AF E, and a few common lenses : 28, 35, 45, 50, 135, 1600
The only problem is that I don't realize more than 20 or 30 shots a year. The world don't miss it, anyway...

Re: Hello from France!
Hi Sebastien, and welcome - do you REALLY have the 1600mm RF lens? That is very rare if you are not just joking! I have a few old rangefinder Minoltas but my best 'collectable' is probably a complete 16mm outfit in a presentation box, along with the developing tank. I do not think it will ever be used. I have an SR-1s with attachable meter and 55mm f1.8. In the past I had Leica mount Minolta 35 (1948) and a Minolta 6 x 9cm press camera (1937) but I sold them, as I am not really a collector - I like to find things and look at them, but once I have studied them, I don't mind selling them on to someone who wants to collect them.

Welcome to the forums! That's quite a collection! I'd beg you to post pictures but I don't want to be a pest.

A warm welcome from me too Sebastien,[SiC] wrote:Big welcome to Sebastien from Sebastian!
This is going to be intersting! Our other Sebastian is actually the Wizard of phot-OZ, who specialises in retrieving everything lost in the dark pits of the Internet...a moment's life saver!
And now you're here with collector's items...yes, this is going to be interesting...

Re: Hello from France!
I assume that is 20 or 30 shots with each camera and every lens combination. That's quite a lot reallysvan wrote:The only problem is that I don't realize more than 20 or 30 shots a year.

Hello and welcome also from Spain, Sebastien! I like your sense of humour, so even if it were true that the world won’t miss your 20 or 30 shots a year (and I am looking forward to seeing your pictures: ¿are they as unusual as your equipment?), I think we would miss your posts if they were only 20 or 30 a year… (So, please, keep shooting and posting.)

Thank you all for your welcome!
I'll try to post regularly, but I can not promise, I have so little freetime and so much to do (just dusting my collection takes me six days a week ...)
Small pic of my 1600, yes, that's not a myth ...
I'll perhaps make a roll with it next XMas holidays. Wait and see!
Best regards,
SV
