Am I really the first new member since October last?  I'm a long term Minolta fan who has been forced into the Sony fold (not that I regret it). I currently use a K-M 7D and and an Alpha 900 with the same range of lenses serving both. I see lots of good advice here and hope to learn lots from you all. I also have an immediate problem that I'll post elsewhere if I find the appropriate place. MickH

Welcome. There is a 'rival' Sony Alpha forum, too, which may attract some people, with it's slicker facade and less technical, but no less informative angle.
I visit both forums. There is always something to learn from both.

I habitually use this and two other Sony Minolta forums. (Should that be "fora"?)

Thanks everyone. I didn't know about the other places but when I saw David Kilpatrick's name (a name I knew from various activities in the past) I looked no further.
