Hello all, Sean here from Millersburg Ohio, small town in the north east part of the state. belong to a few other forums and added this one after browsing on and off for a few weeks. New DSLR user here having lots of fun, making tons of mistakes. 45 yrs. old here, pretty late to pick up a slr maybe? doing lots of reading and research along with playing with the camera.

I knew plenty of photographers who were well past 45 when DSLRs were invented! Come to think of it, I must have been about 45 - ten years ago - that would be around the first time using anything resembling a modern DSLR (Kodak DCS 520 maybe). So you are in the company of most photographers over 50 by definition as DSLRs really didn't begin to hit the streets until 5 years ago.
