Though your avatar doesn't give a clue of how old (young ) you are, but I wish you always stay young in heart. Many happy returns, my friend.

Happy Birthday Greg... If you can remember Max Headroom.... I'd bet you are at least in your mid-thirties. I hope your birthday is great!! John

Well, thankyou all very much, I didn't think I'd left my birthday info lying around anywhere.....Don't tell anyone Doc but 1947 is the epoch I was borne in. Thanks Birma, I'd shout you one but it might be a bit difficult, and yes John I did enjoy the Max Headroom series when it was around...I sort of identify with something that's slightly whacky I think. One or two friends from the Astronomy club will be over later for a quiet one or two, so 'salut' my friends. Greg

Happy birthday, Greg! I see also that we're very near to the anniversary of you joining our forum--three years ago Thursday, actually. Was your birthday in some way related to this event?

Thanks KB, no I think it would be some kind of coincidental, accidental juxtapostitional thingy, I would be the world's worst at pre-planning anything and then having it actually coming too pass, as per plan. Greg

Thankyou Yildiz m'dear, infinity would be interesting, I have thought (in an abstract sense), what it would be like to live long enough to actually see things change, rock formations gradually being eroded, river delta's changing their course over vast amounts of time, continental drift changing the positions of ocean currents and the resultant effects on climate, ice ages that come and go due to precession...t'would be interesting indeed..it would give one a new perspective on things I reckon...
