Richard K's alter ego - serious about wheels

Unread post by David Kilpatrick »

I almost wish I was publishing about cars not cameras, as it would be so much easier to get Richard to write more words than I could reasonably fit in any given space:

He's writing buyers' guides for Octane magazine, and this is one of the first. It's crazy that he is not a motoring journalist as his knowledge and interest goes so far beyond the average. But this is a start, for a small specialist mag.

With the first blue sky outisde for what seems like a long time the idea of a two seat Mercedes is very enticing :) . A very detailed article indeed.

I really did try to read it, but then I saw this link to an article about the Lamborghini Countach, and spent so much time drooling over my forever "I want that" car that I just couldn't look at another inferior car.

If I had Bill Gates money, I would buy a Contach and a Porsche 917. Okay, with his money I'd add a McLaren F1.

There may be faster cars, and "better" cars, but some just capture the imagination of your youth like no other.

With my initials (MGR) my "must have" is a MG RV8.
Since the lottery only paid me £2.80 this week, I've got a hell of a way to go yet.

All my Sony SLT gear gone. Still got my RX100 though.
