Well old toy but spotless condition donated by a friend recently, even the case is mint
Side note I have too many cameras I might have to start cutting it down a bit:
A77, A57, 2x KM5d, 2x Film 7, 3 x Dynax 5's (plus spare parts), 1 x Dynax 60. Fuji XS-1 and X10 and F70exr
Hi-matic F
Any suggestions for a cull? I won't add any more film bodies (I've plenty and 2 7's is enough for anyone) the 5's are worthless thus not worth offloading.
New toy!

My guess is that if you sell your A77, A57, Fuji XS-1, and Fuji X10 you would still get a bit of money.bfitzgerald wrote:Side note I have too many cameras I might have to start cutting it down a bit:

I still have my old X-700 and it still looks good. I still have batteries for it and about a year ago I put them in and it seemed to still work fine.

Re: New toy!
Well I have to keep the A mount stuff aka weddings and things no choice there. However I was thinking of giving the XS-1 to my son who is 10 next month, though I wonder if it's a bit "hefty" for his age (it's not a light camera)
The X10 isn't going anywhere it's a flawed gem but a gem, ditto film bodies I have plenty and they don't take up much space (have to finish off some Ilford in one film 7 body) F70 I used that quite a bit for casual shots and it's still competitive for a smaller sensor superzoom (IQ wise) I don't really need it though with the X10 around
The conclusion I've come to is the 18-135mm means I don't really need the XS-1 (Even though I like it, and it was a bargain and the 24mm is handy as is the mega range.) nor the F70. I'm finding I'm not using long tele that much and the XS-1 is a similar size/weight to the A57 or even A77 and 18-135mm...both bodies allow you to crop quite aggressively either in post or in camera with that lens.
I think we're probably spoilt in some ways the X300 was a reluctant acceptance as I've no interest in the old MF lenses, though I will throw a few rolls through it for those days I fancy a keep it simple 50mm outing.
I forgot I still have my IS-1000 Olympus which works 35-135mm I used that for years and the lens is very good indeed (the design is odd ball and it sucks batteries with powerzoom) When I got hold of a 28mm lens it was a revelation to me..though in some ways I think I must strip things down a bit here. I really only need 1 non SLR type camera.
Can't really justify throwing out the 35mm bodies I don't use much seems sentimentality rules to roost
