Not sure how many would be interested in this, but there's a huge Minolta Vectis lot on ebay. Four bodies, seven lenses (five different models), two flashes, and more. A real curiosity.

I'd say their starting bid is just a wee bit high. I'd give $25 bucks for the lot, for historical purposes, not $200.

Anybody know what the "crop factor" is for Vectis? There are a lot of interesting zoom-ranges in there.

It uses APS film so depending upon the mode used it will be similar to 1.5x for C mode etc...

H for "High Definition" (30.2 × 16.7 mm; aspect ratio 16:9)
C for "Classic" (25.1 × 16.7 mm; aspect ratio 3:2)
P for "Panoramic" (30.2 × 9.5 mm; aspect ratio 3:1)

Sounds like an expensive auction. Serious collectors only I would think.

The Minolta RD 3000 used Vectis lenses and had a 1.5 crop factor.......

Try the "View new posts" for a list of recent additions. Works whether or not there are any that are "unread". - AL in Indy
