Wanted an 88mm UV filter, anyone know where I can get one?
It is like looking for Rocking Horse POO.

It's not a standard filter size, that's why. What takes an 88mm filter? You could try SRB-Griturn Ltd, they can usually either source or make any required size of filter.

Off the shelf, they only offer 86mm and 93mm. Perhaps a special stepping ring 88>86mm could allow you to use normal filters.

Hi David, it is the good old Tamron 200-500mm lens.
I wanted to use it without the rotary bit on the end, but it does look like you cant do it with out it.
Ahh well i tried :wink:
