I am aware that the mirror is not on the optical path for taking the photograph but my dirty mirror is highly frustrating.
I have tried the blower, the brush and micro cloth but without success. A dealer back in the Dynax days recommended the use of blue-tack but I don't have the courage to try that approach.
Any suggestions? proprietary products that may work? any advice would be appreciated.

The mirror is both very sensitive to disturbance in its seating position, and very fragile being semi-silvered in some areas. It has an AR hard coating and can be fully cleaned using a sensor-swab (not flooded with too much solution) or a Visible Dust brush. Blu-tac leaves a greasy residue and is not safe to use. The dry brush with anti static is the best first resort. No pressure should be applied too firmly - same as with a sensor.
