Lightroom 2.0 .. good for A700 exfine JPGS?
I have been waiting for 2.0. Now I am wondering if it is good for just RAW shots or if it is just as good for JPGS?

LR and ACR can do pretty good adjustments on JPEGs. Of course, you only get what you start with, they can't recover missing highlight or colour data, but yes - you can fine tune many JPEGs effectively in LR2.
By default, it will not show you JPEGs if they have the same file identity as a raw file, it will only show the raw. You have to enable viewing both if you shoot raw+JPEG and want for any reason to see the JPEGs.

Thank you David,
I have a PC running XP with all updates (SP3) and 1GB Memory. I hope this will serve to get me started with LR 2.0. I am not going to store lots of photos and I am not looking for speed. I just want to learn the basics before I get a new PC next year. Any thoughts you have regarding suitability would be very helpful.
Thanks again,
John Dodds
