I had both with a Dynax 60 I bought new years ago at a pretty low price.
28-100mm D and 75-300mm D
I never put them on the A99, for fear the results would be truly poor.
However whilst the 75-300mm has a reputation for being bad, it is probably undeserved. What is bad is the purple fringing which can "rage" to silly levels at the top end (wide open). The resolution is really pretty decent it's quite usable at 300mm F5.6, with a drop off on contrast and sharpness - but still respectable IMO. Stop down slightly and I'd call it quite sharp (believe it or not) even at F6.3, I wouldn't worry about using it wide open at 250mm and over (as with most zooms they drop off a bit at this range)
It's good at the shorter ranges and the PF is less obvious. If you can deal with the PF it's an alright light weight lens, not particularly fast to focus (better on newer bodies). On a crop body maybe 300mm is enough range for some wildlife shots? Not my area of expertise!
The 28-100mm D is tons better than the 28-80mm older kit lens, it's not crazy good at 100mm (but acceptable at F5.6), and at 28mm it's not even bad wide open, pretty good at F5.6 and gives good edge to edge at F8.
It doesn't have the contrast/fine detail of the 28-85mm or 28-105mm (both are clearly better lenses optically), it's not horrible by any means. 24mp is pushing it a bit, but on a film camera I doubt you'd notice any issues with it. CA there is some nothing scary though.
So if you see one around cheap, take it over the mediocre 28-80mm (tried a few none impressed even stopped down) Maybe copies vary wouldn't shock me
Pics to follow, later on maybe I'll do reviews on them!
The D film kit lenses are..."not bad at all" 28-100mm and 75-300mm

28-100mm at 100mm F5.6
Focus on trees
Crop IMO performance is not too shabby for plastic low cost kit lenses
