Sigma 28 f 1.8, made for film.

Unread post by mortenmb »

Hi everyone! this is my first post here :D
have been watching this forum for a while, a lot of usefull debate!!

now to the important part ;)

Im going to buy 2 used sigma lenses:
1 sigma 28mm f 1.8
2 sigma 21-35 f 3.5-4.2

Price; 90$, for both.

Both are back from the film days, about, hmm, 10 years old, i think.

Now i wonder, does any of you know any of the lenses?

I would realy appreciate some feedback on the two :D, what you think of them and so on.

BTW, im going to use them on my A200 :D

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the fast answer Sonolta :)

Great with the link, people seem to think it's a okay lens, the 21-35 :D

Yeah i saw it still was in production, so i cant wait to try it on my A200, and learn the difference :) hoping it has nice bokeh!

hmm, i hope that it does not need to be rechipped! i dont even think thats possible in my country (Denmark) :/

Do you have a guide for checking front/back fokus issues?
how about just trying to focus on my hand, and then check if the focus hits?

Hi Morten and welcome to the forum.
I really hope they will not need any re-chipping and do hope you'll inform us of the results and post some shots with them.
