Some 70-400 bird images up

Unread post by calpon »

I shot some 3000 images on my week long trip to Florida. Many of these were with the new 70-400G. Have a look at my Zenfolio site for many images (some 70-200G images as well).

I am very satisfied with this lens and I will not be able to use my Tamron 200-500 ever again.

Great detail. What focal length was used here, and which camera.

An a700, an a550 and couple of a580s, plus even more lenses (Zeiss included!).

It says:
Zenfolio site will be right back

Scheduled maintenance is in progress.

Thank you for your patience.

So I have to visit there a bit later. :(
But I'll do that, definitely.

Looks impressive. Dr Harout I just checked the website and it seems to be up and running. Definately worth a look.

No AF....The camera defaults to MF and can't be switched to AF.
Tried the Kenko Pro as wee. That will AF, but slower.....IQ was not very good even stopped down.

This picture really shows off what the lens can do, and I'm drooling.

All the sharpness of f/8 with big smooth round bokeh--at f/8, my beercan is already into pointy heptagon territory.
