My son goes to New York next week and with the dollar being so low at the moment it seems a good time to ask him to bring a 16-80 back with him to England.
Can anyone advise please where is a good place to buy in New York ( he will stay in the Manhatton area) and what their web site addressesis/are so I can check out availability and price?
Also have the quality issues referred to in other posts now been cleared up?

I have used B&H (B&H Photo Video, 420 9th Avenue, New York, N.Y., 10001) (http://www.bhphotovideo.com) for mail order a number of times, and have found them very good in both service and price- I haven't been to their store however.
