Can You Re-Chip An ACCESS*TEMPO(by Sigma?)AF 75-200 F2.8-3.5

I have an ACCESS*TEMPO (by Sigma?) AF 75-200mm F2.8-3.5 Lens that I use with my Minolta Maxxum 9000AF.
I want to use this Lens on my Maxxum 7 and KM7D, but it won't A-F or display F-Stops, and I believe it's due to the ROM Chip inside the Lens.
I'd like to use this Lens more, because from 75-135mm it's F2.8, which makes it a very fast lens, even by today's Lenses.
This Lens is all Metal, solidly built, and was Made In Japan  .
I'm looking for a Lens repair shop in the USA (or Canada?) that is qualified enough to Re-Chip this Lens for me, so that I can use it even more.
Would Sigma Corp. do it, if it is indeed their Lens?
If anyone else has the same Lens, and has had it done, please post a reply, as to what Shop did it, and where.
Thank You.

I started with Konica, then Minolta, onto Konica-Minolta.

Scroll down to user JeremyT, maybe you too can order a chip from James Lao?
