Good old Vivitar 90mm/f2 macro

Unread post by sury »

Here are couple of examples of using the Vivitar 90mm/f2 macro lens on A900 and using HVL-F58. Shutter speed 1/500 on both. I picked up this lens from eBay for about $70. Both are taken with glassless MF/MA adapter.

I am going to try the same set up on my A700 for additional DOF later this weekend. I want to try using an adapter that came with it (I suspect 1:1 adapter) and check it out. I did not have much luck using that adapter in the past (due to pilot error I presume).

With best regards,
Sury

Hi Sury - I especially like the first picture - the flower really seems to stand out in that shot.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

I agree. Nice colors and control of the flash!
