Unread post by bfitzgerald »

This slipped by without much attention still I saw this on DCwatch

Iffy translation aside..

α [A Mount lens 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G SSM II "SAL70300G2"
And sharp sense of resolution, it is a telephoto zoom lens that achieves a beautiful blur of unique G lens.
Sports and animal outdoor shooting, of course, is ideal for close-up photography with minimum shooting distance 1.2m. I am also active in such as portrait and flowers of the shooting.

Flare and ghost caused by inter-surface reflection is suppressed significantly by employing nano AR coating, further improve the descriptive power.
Dynamic tracking performance of AF is about 4 times faster in the current model ("SAL70300G") ratio.
Adopt a conscious design to dust-proof and drip-proof.
<Release Date: February 2015 Manufacturer's suggested retail price: 142,000 yen + tax>

It does add sealing and faster AF the only stumbling block could be price
