Advices for a new user - Sony DSC R-1

Unread post by ronyzmbow »

:D

I am new in this forum and a new owner of Sony DSC R-1.
Finally after a long search I bought a second hand like new Sony DSC R1 and i am really excited.

I am looking for any kind of advice that might help me such as settings, RAW developing, accessories, tutorials, books, DVD\s etc.
Is there any forum which is dedicated to this camera?

Well, a 5 years old (wonderful) camera... you always have the Sony talk at DPreview.com, and probably group(s) at Flikr.com

Get the latest Photoshop Elements - it will convert the raw files from the R-1 better than anything did, back when the R-1 was new. Any Adobe raw conversion now (Lightroom 3.3RC free download or anything from 3.0 upwards, Elements 8/9, Adobe Camera Raw 6.0 or later) will transform R-1 files even making high ISO images look great.
