I have received my 16-80, repaired at Sony's Bridgend facility following it's accident. I am very pleased with the repair but the interesting thing is that they have tightened up the zoom action presumably by replacing an item called the 'friction sheet E' which is on the list of replaced parts. I cannot find my Lensband so just as well. How long will it last though? I have a feeling that in a few months time I may be looking for the Lensband again.

Hi John - good to know that Bridgend fixed your cz16-80 just in case anything ever happens to mine - I'd really miss it .
