I'm not that surprised, really, the world economy has seen better days, but it's good that they are thinking accessories...maybe they might restore the Macro flash set back to the way it should be, woo woo.
Nikon thinking about a D300 replacement? it's not due for replacement yet...is it?

Ah, guess I'm freed up to get one of those a350 or a700 kits that have--oops--just now, finally flown off the shelves at CC.

Am I glad for the accessories. Though frankly Sony is getting quite late on that.
And welcome to the forum Randall. :D

It's good and It's bad.

On the one hand, it would be better, I think, if camera developments rate are slowed down a bit; No need to change every 18 months (altough I've been waiting for an A800 or a lower full-frame model).
But I've been wanting more lenses!

Me too, most of mine are at least 15-20 years old and are slow to focus.
I love my Sony 18-250 not because it is optically great (good but not great) but because it is so handy to have as a travel lens with good all round performance.
It does most things well.

All my Sony SLT gear gone. Still got my RX100 though.
