I wonder what has happened to Sony's A560 and 580. They were not in PS ARW 6.2 and LR 3.2. Fallen off Adobe's radar? Should have been included in 6.2/3.2 as basically the sensors are the same as SLT33/55. I was going to buy a "VAT free" A580 and no decent RAW converter with CA removal as well? As I understand it the latest issue of IDC is still without CA removal. What a state of affairs.Adobe has released 'Release Candidates' of its Camera RAW 6.3 and Lightroom 3.3 raw processing software. The updates, available from the company's Adobe Labs site, bring support for 8 additional cameras including the Nikon D7000, D3100 and P7000. Canon's G12 and S95 enthusiast compacts are also supported, along with Samsung's NX100 and TL350 (WB2000). Panasonic's GH2 completes the octet. The company uses the term 'Release Candidate' to denote software that is well tested but not yet the final version.

IDC never really was that great really, it could be decent but it's not really worth bothering with IMO. Not sure what's going on ACR wise I've been using a very powerful pc with LR3 and it's still not as fast as it should be. Some bits to iron out.
The A560/580 seem to have fallen off Sony's radar so Adobe follow them!

I thought the A560 and A580 were in the last release along with the A55 and A33? Adobe were ahead, not behind. I do not have any A560 or 580 files to check. 6.3 introduced other new cameras, but 6.2 had the new Sony models already. May be wrong. It definitely had the A55 and A33.

Here is a list of all cameras supported by ACR 6.2 http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html
As can be seen, the A560/580 combo is not listed.

I guess the best way for anyone to tackle this might be to alter some headers in the A580 and 560 raws to spoof A55 and A33 files as it's the same sensor. People did this before with various cameras.

I found a couple of A580 raw files online at
http://andrebernet.ch/divers/index.php? ... 80samples/
I converted the ARW files using the SONY IDC software to TIFF and to JPG with CS4 and CS5. I didn't notice any differences in JPEGs between the Adobe PS versions.
