There have been threads about 3fps and 6fps series on the a77 with AWB that vary the temperature. Lesson - try not to use AWB. However, I just did a series of single shots over the whole ISO range (trying to tidy up noise reduction settings in LR) and every time I shot a RAW image at ISO 3200 it turned blue in LR. I used several WB presets, and also set a custom temperature of 7100, but nothing helped. I tried RAW+JPG and the jpg was fine; RAW was blue. The color histograms on the LCD of the a77 were as close as peas in a pod (same subject matter), and the jpg previews were all in normal color, but when importing to LR all but the ISO 3200 came in at color temp of 7100, and the ISO 3200(s) at 2100.
This does not happen opening the files with Sony's PMB software. They look fine. OTOH and just to confuse things, I tested one of the 6fps shots that blew out the color balance under AWB and even in PMB it was still "blue".
It seems that Sony is sending code with the RAW files that is confusing LR. Or, since even PMB cannot handle all files with proper color, is it a basic flaw in the ARW format? Anybody?

Well, the situation has changed. I deleted the offending files and reimported, copying to DNG. No color problems. I deleted them again, reimported as ARW, and no color problems.
