Has anyone have a recommendation for a A77 screen protector? There a few on the Amazon website, but which one? :(

I'd buy the Sony protector. -- I think they are bit thicker. I dropped my A850 once. It landed on the back, broke the screen protector but saved the LCD. It was worth the extra $5.

You cannot use thick screen savers on the a77, otherwise the screen couldn't flip towards the camera.
I bought a couple from e-Bay: EXIM screen protector, ultra protect
They were cheap, are very bright, and comes with 2 pieces. I still have one.

Sony makes one for the A77 that they describe as a hard protector. That was the only point I was making.

I used a cheap (=free) soft cover. The screen spends 90% of it's life facing the camera in any case. The protection is mainly required for damage I may do when wiping finger prints off the screen!

Finally looked on the Sony web site, the Sony SP was cheaper than Amazon, so ordered one.
Many thanks everyone

I got this for my A65. I fits the actual visual part of the screen but not 100% edge to edge. But for me it fits great and very cheap.
