anybody do macro with an A77 & flashes?
Have the opportunity to get an A77 & grip at a decent price.
1 main use would be for macro of butterflies, dragonflies etc.
Haven't really been keeping up but I'm aware that there have been complaints about both delay (not good with moving beasties) with flash & flash exposure inconsistency on the A77.
I prefer to use ambient light but sometimes needs must ... (have Metz ring flash, Sony MT24 & F42AM).
Relevant feedback appreciated.

Re: A77 & flash for macro?
I do (or should I say "I did" , now that I use the a99 now).
From the mentioned flashes I don't have the Metz.
It's quite good with the twin flash, which I use a lot.
However, I must admit it's not real Macro in its pure sense that I do.
As for delays, I've never encountered one.
