Imaging resource - A99 review

Unread post by bfitzgerald »

Surprised nobody has posted this:

And the conclusion

http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/s ... LUSION.HTM

Personally I think it's a much more balanced review than the pseudo brochure DPR produced (and they refused to mention some obvious cons such as battery life - aka they have an agenda bias there IMO)

On the downside "Dave's pick" is given away like candy at a store (as the Americans say) not that I think this doesn't deserve an award just Dave's pick need to be not given out with every review! I would have also added price to the cons list myself.

Thoughts?

I found the IR review useful and an interesting read. It is certainly possible to find a healthy number of reviews for the A99 around the internet, all adding a little bit more back story. Obviously DK's review is the baseline :) .
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
