I would base my choice between those 2 cameras on the systems they have and after market availability of used lenses which is vast, not to mention 3rd party lenses Ect. Both cameras have a lot going for them and the A-99 11 has some advantages over the Nikon but my choice would be the Nikon for the reasons I mentioned, however I recognise its a personal choice and what suits one person doesn't suit another.
