Bausch & Lomb 1902 Camera

Unread post by Old Hydro »

Does anyone have an idea what a "intact 1902 Bausch & Lomb tripod camera" might be and the value? -- There is an auction coming in a small town over the mountain from me this weekend and its on the list of things being auctioned.

I might go and bid if its something special that ought to be saved. I've searched the internet and found nothing that enlightened me.

IIRC, there were various large format early models that had built in tripods. This is probably one of these. The old camera shop I used to frequent had one in the window. I have no idea of it's value, but he wouldn't sell it.

An a700, an a550 and couple of a580s, plus even more lenses (Zeiss included!).
