Interesting! How old is this building I wonder?

Have you ever used it for observations Dr. Harout? Does the university allow visitors to come and observe on special occasions like eclipses of spacial/universal bodies?
As for the photo quality; nice contrasty blue sky and sharp details...

Don't know the exact date but during the fifties probably. It is still part of a department of the Engineering University of Yerevan.
Can't say for granting access for visitors but as they say "nothing is impossible" :D

Curious and beautiful building, Dr. Harout! If it was not for the metallic dome, I would have thought it was the old mausoleum of an ancient warrior…

That has to be one of the very coolest buildings I've seen in a long while. I can't help but note a vague resemblance to the Pantheon in Rome...perhaps this is more for functional reasons than visual.

You're right Kevin. Armenian and Greek architecture have much in common. Future Hellenistic style had a great impact.
