Having sold of all my old stuff, I am down to 3 lenses, from 10-200mm, the fastest being F3.5 (CZ16-80).

Let's see, a a pin-hole body cap registers as an f/1 in the EXIF data, but then, it'a actually a pretty slow lens...

It looks like the Minolta AF 50mm f/1.7 is a popular lens on the forum - or am I making a rash assumption?

I voted f1.7 ala 50mm obviously. I have this MD mount also
I think it is a popular lens and has been for some time.

Two people have said they have A-mount lenses that are faster than f1.4. What are they? For example, I know of some f1.2 lenses that are not A-mount, but don't recall any A-mount.

It is pure speculation on my part, but perhaps they have copies of the 50mm f:1.2 or 58mm f:1.2 lenses with Pete Ganzel's MD to A-mount conversion ?
