Ok, I'll try and kick this one off. The valley in question here is the Severn valley, in Worcestershire, from the Malvern Hills.
Tamrom 17-50, f18, 1/40sec, focal length 17mm, ISO200. Some pp in PSE7.

Here is one of my best selling prints locally, as also a reasonably good stock seller - the Eildon Hills from Scott's View, the Tweed Valley in the foreground.

No surprises here, as each photo is magnificent in its own right!
Absolutely well done. There are just so many ways to catch a good glimpse of greens all in their own setting and these are good examples: city amongst the greens; pastures bordered with iconic trees; hills giving rise to the landscapes covered with various greens.
David;
With which Alpha model did you shoot this photo? The resolution of the overall image and colour range is remarkable.
Thanks everyone!

I was cheating - actually taken on the Sony DSC-R1. I thought it was an Alpha 100 shot because it's in which shots from that period, but I had the R1 to test for a short time. That was a completely unique camera and Sony's decision to scrap it because the Alpha range arrived was very sad. Future developments of the R1 could have included HD video and it would have been unbeatable.

Thanks for the clarification.
That's indeed a unique camera. It's a pity Sony didn't want 'unbeatable' cameras around with the arrival of the Alpha branding and progress. Many will remember the R1 as the sole reason that warmed their hearts and photography to Sony's DSLRs; they expected more to be in store for them with the Alphas, though there are some disappointments voiced concerning the handling of the Alpha progression.
And thanks for the photo because it speaks volumes for quality in many aspects of photography. ( And of course there's no disqualification for the challenge... )

Hi Winston,
I just uploaded a 1023 pixel wide 'test' image to "Enjoy the fresh air!" challenge thread and went through successfully. The image is being hosted by ImageShack.
Bakubo's photos are smaller in size always too and the forum seems fine with those as well. So, maybe something else may be at fault and hopefully David Kilpatrick will have the answer.

This is one of my favorite images made with my KM-7D.
Ola Valley Squall
KM-7D: 1/500s f/11.0 at 35.0mm iso400 full exif
I don't know why I couldn't put this up this morning...tried a half-dozen times. Must have been a temporary glitch.

That's a beauty Winston!
Worth all the trouble...and I'm happy that we finally can see it. Your photos always have the ingredients of beautiful story-telling in just one frame: there's a lot going on in there
Thanks
David Antony;
Yet an other wonderful shot! Greens of playfull textures topped with snowy peaks....Like the icing on a delicious cake!
Thanks
