Hi Pako,
Nice challenge idea! The thread will be embedded with colours no doubt.
Lovely colours! Joy of autumn indeed.

Hi David Antony,
It's the time of the year for pumpkins then... I like the puppet-like farmer in the wheel-cart though can't see much of him.
The 5D has great bright colours...

Hi Peter,
Your photo looks like a tentatively-created painting with that thin layer of mist veiling the trees ahead...a beautiful trail to spend time on.
Lovely...

Re: Challenge 20: "Fall Colors" - Submissions
Thanks for the positive comments folks.
I mentioned that it "suggests" fall colours for good reason. Although taken in autumn the original did not look like this. I attach below a copy of the original as it would "normally" come out of my raw converter (no further PP or sharpening). The yellow/orange version came out of experimenting with shifting white balance in my raw converter together with some PP in CS2.

Oops - Sorry Aster, only after submitting my second image (not really for consideration as a "Fall Colours" entrant) do I note your limit of one image per customer - my apologies. Delete it if you want to!

You need not worry over the second photo at all. It's obvious to us all why you wished to share it with us and as the starter of this challenge happens to be Pakodominguez, he is the one to set any limits to the number of photos submitted. The person who starts the challenge has the right to make the rules.
Seeing so many beautiful images is always very inspiring and brings out the colourful spirits in everyone. I have no complaints on my part. In fact, what you just did gave me an idea: we can start a "before and after" thread in the Post-Processing section and see/admire what can be achieved with good post-processing...We can even start a challenge for this!
Thanks for sharing because you really improved and pushed the limits that only resulted in a magnificent outcome as a photo. Very inspiring...

Hi David Antony,
The scenes are full of mirth and colour. Absolutely lovely puppets and pumpkins!
I think I want to cook/bake some pumpkin desserts myself.. There are so many recipes to choose from... hmm, a pie perhaps.
Thanks,
Yildiz
