Hello Dear Members,
Though this particular forum belongs to the Club of Alphas and their predecessors that belong to the family of SLRs, I believe we should also run photo challenges that the compact cameras and even phone cameras can contribute as well.
Almost all of us own a compact digital camera or cell phone with rich features that include cameras. And sometimes the most exciting things that we wish to register permanently happen when we are commuting or in spaces where we don't take our SLRs to.
For the sake of not missing out on those lovely opportunities that you can also share with the forum, here's your chance to start your own Compact Digital Camera challenges on any subject / topic you desire or see a future in.
Here's an example topic if you decide that you want to start one:
C.D.C. Challenge 1: "Summer flowers" > > ( Compact Digital Camera Challenge 1:[....] )
Enjoy!
Yildiz
ps. I haven't asked David Kilpatrick yet so if he decides the compact camera challenges are not suitable for the club we'll naturally forgo the idea...
ps 2. David confirms. We can all enter with any compact camera we own despite the different brands. Shoot away!!
