Hi Everyone!
I looked out my window this morning and noticed that the trees are already changing colors. Fall is upon us in the North, and Spring for those South of the Equator. Of course, for those in the Tropics, you may only be changing from wet to dry season.
So, this challenge is to show, in some photographic way, the changes of season in your area. Be creative, and have fun!
Dusty
Specifications:
*.. Challenge #49 ends on December 1st, 2012. (So we don't run into Christmas challenges.)
*.. You may enter up to 3 photos. If you post more, only the first 3 submitted will be considered.
*.. If you'll upload using the website's own upload feature, dimensions and the size should not exceed 1024*1024 and 250 KB respectively. If you link your photo from an external website/gallery the dimension and the size restrictions don't apply.
*.. Please title your submitted photos to make listing more sensible during the poll listing.

I'm glad I read the rest of the post Dusty... I was wondering how I was going to represent menopause!!!
Great idea for a challenge, I'll have to see what can be found here in Texas.

Great idea for a challenge Dusty. The colour change is just starting to get under way here, but here is a first attempt.

One thing which has not changed here is the amount of water lying around...
NEX-5n, 18-200mm Tamron at 18mm, articulated screen used to place camera about two inches above a large, muddy puddle in the road which most people would not have given a second look at.

I'm in Guadalajara this week for work so no chance for changing color outside ... , but I'm lucky I have done a walk with Evan Saturday.
Staying with the water effect:
TITLE: Walking in the change :
Short story about the boot ... , when I was doing picture of the St-Laurent river and leaving Evan a few moment of my surveillance beside me, I suddenly heard him crying ! Turn my head and saw a poor kid walking to me with a strange mater of walking:
(Not in the challenge)
Difficult to explain that arriving at home after ...

Hi Dusty, good theme for a challenge.
I shot a few images of the fall today. This one can enter for me for now.

And this is why you are a photographic genius!
I really love this one. Microsoft should replace their "tree lined disappearing road fall theme" with this photo!

Frank - boot lifting water - amazing shot. Never seen before. You know how long photography has been around, and how hard it is to show an original image? It is almost impossible not to take a picture which has been taken before.
And then you do that. I have seen millions of pictures, and I've never seen this.
Thank you.

I am loving Seattle (the biggest change in my life right now). There are actually more than just two or three kinds of trees that can grow up here, unlike Texas. Here's some of the lovely autumn leaf-litter that I get to walk through on my way to my favorite pho place:

Nice one Kevin, but why don't you link to a bigger size?
